Difficult behaviors also need to be worked on now because every day that passes makes those behaviors more and more ingrained in your child and much less likely to ever be changed……..

And don’t forget that your child is still growing and that people in society are much less tolerant and forgiving of a bigger child or an adult, than they are a small child….

....because bigger children can cause much greater pain and harm when they are violent and aggressive.

Social skills are vital too as they help your child to get along in the world………

.....at the moment your child probably hasn’t got these skills and so keeps on judging situations wrongly (at least in the eyes of the world at large) causing upset and pain for your child and others…….. ………..pretty soon all of these difficult experiences can turn into a vicious circle for your child where they have bad social experiences, then lose all their social skills and confidence.....which leads to more bad social experiences………..

…..For example if your child finds it hard to cope with too many things to see and too many noises all at once and so suddenly lashes out in a busy classroom, supermarket or family party…..

.....your child will very quickly be classed as a “trouble maker” and shouted at by people to “calm down”…..which will likely only make matters worse…..

……and make your child even more tense and likely to get upset the next time they are in a similar busy place.
