What are the ad guidelines?

You are welcome to place as many ads as you like on Hoobly for free. In order to keep Hoobly as clean and useful as possible please adhere to the following posting guidelines:

1. Place one ad per item: Hoobly is easy to browse, so you don't have to place your listing in multiple categories or areas.



2. Place one item per ad: Don't place ads that say "lots of stuff for sale" or the like. An exception is if you are selling many items as one "lot" (ie. one price)



3. No "empty" ads: Place ads that adequately describe your item. Don't place ads that simply link to an outside web page.



4. Keep it clean: Naughty pictures and foul language will get your account banned.



5. Keep the service ads in the "services" category: Exception: Premium Ads may be targetted to whatever area and category you like.



6. No "wanted" ads: Hoobly is a marketplace. Please don't put "looking for" or "wanted" ads up.



7. No "affiliate" ads: Ads designed to drive traffic to outside web sites or email addresses

How many ads can I place?

You can place as many ads as you like. But please don't overpost Hoobly by placing basically the same ad in many different areas or categories.

How do I remove my ad

Under the "My Hoobly" tab there's a My Listings menu item. This lists all your current active and expired ads. You may remove an ad from this page.

How long can I keep my listing on Hoobly

Listings you place can run for a practically unlimited time period. You have the listing id to yourself and can advertise that id as you see fit (but please don't spam).

How do I edit my listings?

If you click on the "My Account" link at the top right of the page you'll be directed to your account overview page. At the top of this page is a menu bar that has the item "My Listings". Click on this menu item to administer any listings you currently have on Hoobly.
