I bought a male sugar glider from a local pet store a few months back, knowing he was not being taken care of properly. I wanted to give him a better home where he was eating fresh fruit and had lots of room to play. This summer I have had to help my mother run her daycare business and I am beginning my sophomore year in college in less than a month. I will not be able to devote the time that I would like to my sugar glider. I would like him to go to a home who has knowledge of sugar glider care, and has another glider in need of a friend.

The pet store told me he was about 1 year old, and was neutered, but I do not believe this to be true. When he crawls the walls of his cage and tent, I am able to see his pom, so I do not want to falsely advertise him as being neutered. He was very shy when I bought him, as no one had given him attention at a young age and he is not quick to trust. You can pet him, and he will crawl around on you inside his tent, but I would not trust carrying him around the house just yet.

His cage is as tall as I am (around 5 ft), and has a top and bottom area that can be accessed easily by the 4 doors on the front of the cage (see pics). The doors shut securely.
