There is a person who sells Boerboels on here fraudulently. They show off a beautiful large pair of parents (I met the dogs in person) but the puppy youll get may come from anywhere. They will promise you papers but never deliver. I was given a dog and told it came from a pair and later met others who bought puppies from the same pair that were 5 wks younger than mine. These dogs are stunning weighing close to 175-200 lbs. My dog barely broke 100 lbs. The president of the association for this breed contacted me personally as word began to spread this person had yet another round of victims. There are 17 of us total that I know of (found through FB group posts for the breed for specific states throughout the country, and then personal contact amongst the victims) and comments about the breeder on these various posts about fraud. Many people had different info as far as their contact info and location. Through my online sleuthing, I got into contact with some of the people they source other puppies from - all were back door breeders selling questionable mixed dogs. I had my dog tested - its a mix breed. I have heard some say that dn matter and that may be so but they still are not permitted to breed their dogs I know where they got them and have spoken to them as well.
I am the only one complaining about the size specifically, the major gripe with the other buyers (located in TX, GA, FL, OH) was the fact they never received their papers and they will never get them bc they cant give you any.
Feel free to contact me for further info. I am not putting their info on blast here bc it will only cause them to use other accounts/family members to peddle their dogs and although this may not stop them from finding out at least it will slow down the process therefore helping others longer.
