Minnie is a 40lb, 4-year-old black standard poodle. She is female, intact, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. While shes pedigreed, her papers were unfortunately lost. Minnie is an active dog and would thrive in a home with a large yard where she can run and play. After her exercise, shes happy to relax and curl up in your lap. Shes very affectionate and tends to follow her people around truly a devoted companion. Though dominant, Minnie gets along well with other large dogs but would do best as the only pet in the home. Due to her strong prey drive, shes not suited for a home with cats or small, un-caged animals. Minnie follows basic commands, comes when called, and wont wander too far on her own. Shes generally good with new people but can be a bit shy around men and children initially. While she is a counter surfer, shes not a destroyer your couches, clothes, and shoes will be safe! Minnie finds long periods of separation from her person very stressful, so a home where someone works from home would be ideal.
