message ArellanoAsh about this adTinkerbell is still very young and is an incredibly sweet, affectionate little bird. She loves head scratches, cuddling, being handled, and spending time with people. She is comfortable being gently held and handled in different positions and has a very relaxed, playful personality once she feels comfortable.
She does not currently have an exclusive one person bond, which I actually think makes her a great candidate for someone looking for a young bird to build their own bond with. She is socialized with different people and has been exposed to different environment so she does get along with everyone and is great with kids.
She has become a little more cautious recently because my 4 year old son is still learning how to handle such a small bird gently. Unfortunately, Ive realized that having such a young child and a small bird together isnt the safest situation for her. I feel that finding Tinkerbell a home where she can receive more individual attention is the responsible choice since my son isnt able to properly have calm interactions with her.
She has been raised on a good quality pellet based diet and would be a great bird to continue training. She was already clipped when I purchased her. The breeder/person I purchased her from believed she is female, but she has NOT been DNA sexed, so gender is not guaranteed.
I originally paid $700 for Tinkerbell alone. I am asking $600 INCLUDING her cage.
This is not a rushed or careless rehome. I genuinely love her and want her to go somewhere safe where she can bond with her new person and get the attention she deserves.
