Rehoming my sweet blue and gold macaw due to having too many birds in my home and not enough one-on-one time to give her what she deserves. This isn't a decision made lightly she's a wonderful bird, and I want her next home to be her last home.
She's 26 years old, which for a blue and gold means she likely has 30+ years ahead of her please only inquire if you're prepared for a long-term commitment, not a novelty pet.
Temperament: Laid-back and easygoing overall. Like many macaws, she tends to bond most strongly with one person so patience and consistency in the first few weeks with a new owner will go a long way.
Talking: Talks sometimes she has vocabulary, just isn't constantly chatty.
What's included: Bird only no cage or supplies. Please have a properly sized macaw cage, perches, and toys ready before pickup.
Location: Atlanta, GA area. Local pickup preferred no shipping.

I'm looking for an experienced or seriously committed bird owner who understands macaw behavior, lifespan, and the one-person-bonding dynamic. Please be prepared to answer questions about your setup and experience I want to make sure this is the right fit for both of you. Video call before an in-person meet is required.
