Rare Bronze Wing Pionus- Special Needs -- $6,000

$6,000 Cash. Firm. This is half the price of the breeder because hes needy. Must pick up locally. Please only respond if you are serious, have the cash, and fully read and understand his needs.
1 year old Bronze Wing Pionus. He comes with breeder papers.
Special Attention- He had a VERY bad flight when coming to me initially. He has separation anxiety and barbers his feathers. This is being controlled with medication and his feathers have started growing back! He will need to continue the medication until his feathers completely grown back and until he is completely comfortable with a new owner. An avian vet is necessary to keep monitoring him.
Tricks- He knows how to kiss, wave, spin, and is learning to fly on command to different areas. He is also target/clicker trained.
Personality- He much prefers women. He is a goofball. He loves to hang upside down and chew on his toys and flop around. He likes to run on the couch and wrestle with my hand. He likes my teenage niece but not my toddler niece or nephew. He chases the dog around the floor and he likes to climb on anything and everything.
Food- He is on a daily maintenance pellet and gets fruits and veggies every day. His favorite is home cooked beans.
Additional- The vet did suggest that a second bird would be incredibly helpful to his confidence and anxiety, however, that is not an option for me. So, I've made the decision to find him a new home. You can see in the pics what he will look like fully feathered. These were taken prior to him barbering. The most recent pics you can see the new feather growth coming in. He has a lot coming in on his underside and under his wings too. The vet did say it could take up to two years for his feathers to return with consistent medication, structure, and training.
