Following several wonderful years together, we're now seeking a new home for Scout, preferably with adult-only residents. A critical aspect of Scout's care is providing a child-free environment, as he exhibits significant stress around young children. Scout's adoption package includes a neutered status and no special dietary needs. However, he does experience anxiety-related distress when left alone, resulting in persistent howling and complicating his care. Our decision to rehome Scout is motivated by his struggles integrating with our large family, including three kids and four nieces and nephews, and his need for near-constant companionship. Our ideal scenario is finding an owner who can devote 95% of their time to providing Scout with the love, attention, and companionship he requires. |
