Mother is full Pyrenees and comes from a working line from another Illinois farm protecting chickens and sheep. Father is 3/4 Pyrenees and 1/4 Anatolian and comes from a working line in Indiana protecting chickens, kune kune pigs and other livestock. Both currently protect our chickens and ducks on 10 acres. Both patrol regularly, keep the foxes away that used to decimate our flock, have fought off coyotes and kill raccoons almost nightly around the coop. Also make great family pets.
