message poppy123 about this ad A personal care attendant is needed for an autistic adult with intellectual disabilities. The attendant's daily responsibilities will include the following: developing and implementing a plan for coaching and teaching daily living skills, toileting, dressing, bathing, providing companionship and opportunities for leisure activities and exercise, and providing constant supervision to ensure a safe and secure environment for this individual. Attendant will also plan, prepare, and serve meals. Applicant must have reliable transportation to report for shifts on time and to transport the individual to scheduled activities outside the home as needed. Applicants must be licensed and bonded, show proof of certified training and experience with adults with intellectual disabilities/autism, be CPR certified, and be willing to submit to a background check. Applicant must be able to commit to a flexible schedule that may vary from day to day, and week to week. There are NO additional benefits with this position.
