Hyderabad-headquartered digital payment platform Viyona Fintech has received approval from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to operate as a third-party application provider (TPAP
The approval is expected to accelerate the companys plans to offer Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services in collaboration with partner banks, expanding access to digital payments across tier II and III cities, as well as underserved rural markets in India, according to a press release from the startup behind the GRAAMPAY and Viyona Pay apps.
