message risenfaith about this ad Icelandics are a heritage breed that does well on pasture and hay. They are sheared twice a year and their fleeces go for $15-25 per pound. Sheep are flock animals and need to have a fellow buddy to hang around with all the time. Cheviot; better parasite resistance as lambs than purebred Icelandics. Very nice fleeces.I have sold Icey Cheviot fleeces for $20 per pound. The rams would make excellent flock sires or fiber sheep. Rams are $225 and up. Icey Cheviots :Mixes: 25% Icelandic/75% Cheviot White in color: Bozeman (single-ram) Born 3/30/25 $225 He has his CDT series and his medical records will come with him. He is ready for breeding this fall. more pictures at: |
