message sophierae about this ad I have a few interested individuals that would make a great home for this guy, in case nothing follows through I am posting him here as well. I am in no rush to place this guy into the right home. Jax is an intact male Belgian Malinois, estimated to be about 8-9 months old. I have been fostering Jax for a couple weeks now and he has shown to be a stable and confident boy. People/kid/dog friendly. I have worked with him on door thresholds and house training during his time with me, otherwise he is a blank slate training wise. He settles well in a crate and has responded well to correction from both people and other dogs. Jax is an easy going, low drive mal who is not a candidate for heavy sport work, nor breeding. He will go to his new home with a contract in place to ensure he is neutered at an appropriate age. He will thrive in an active pet home, potentially hobby scent work. He is UTD on shots with records and came to me with suspected fly bites on his ears, after being looked over by a vet. I otherwise suspect possible allergies. His ears have not been a bother in the slightest thus far and he does have medication to go home with him. We have also done a few soaks in aloe and oatmeal shampoo which has helped bring some life back into his skin and coat. If he is still with me throughout the week he sees the vet again this week to get a proper diagnosis and ensure we are still on the correct path to treatment.
