I have a husky/carrin terrier mix looking for a new home. She CAN NOT be around ANY other small animals EVER. She lives with two English Mastiffs and a German Shepherd just fine and grew up on a farm with every animal imaginable never had a problem. We got her fixed a couple of months ago and ever since then she has had an insane prey drive. She can NOT live on our farm anymore because we can not continue to loose live stock. She is a GOOD dog, a loving dog, a very loyal dog and I truly believe she will make someone an amazing best friend AS LONG as they have no other small animlas. Someone may be able to fix her issues I am not sure. She has been with us since a baby and is now almost 4 and has always had access to every small animal you can think of and would even sleep with them (ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, tortoises, chickens and cats Since getting her fixed though that changed and I dont know how to fix the problem and can not loose anymore animals. She is and always has been the submissive dog in our pack. She is my 16yr old daughters dog and very attached to her this is not an easy decision but the other option was euthanasia and I dont think that is the answer. She also is great with my special needs 12yr old, my 11yr old and my 8yr old. BUT with that being said I am saying no kids just to be safe. I have never EVER seen her have any aggression towards any kids nor any "stranger" that has come to the house but due to how she has changed towards animals since her spay i am saying older kids only. She is UTD on shots and rabies and is also licensed in Berrien County till next year. We are hoping to find the perfect fit for her she LOVES going for walks/runs and does not leave our property when let out. She knows some tricks, has zero food aggression and walks on a leash. We are asking a rehoming fee of of 200 to make sure she goes to a good home.
