Daily duties will include, but are not limited to: creating and implementing a plan for coaching/teaching daily living skills, toileting, bathing, dressing, planning/preparing meals, providing companionship, creating opportunities for leisure activities/exercise, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for the disabled individual. Applicant must have reliable transportation to report for shifts on time and to transport the disabled individual to and from scheduled activities outside the home as needed. Applicants must be licensed and bonded, show proof of certified training and experience with adults with intellectual disabilities/autism, be CPR certified, and be willing to submit to a background check. Applicant must be able to commit to a schedule that may vary from day to day and week to week. There is NO reimbursement for gas or travel expenses. There are NO additional benefits with this position.
