message hopper88 about this ad I have a young Hahns looking for a suitable home! I just had her sexed and she is a confirmed female. I recently acquired her from another lady that took her in from the original owner temporarily until she found a her better living situation. The original owner didnt pass along much info to her so the macaws age is purely based on estimation, which is 9 months to one year of age. She may or may not have scissor beak. I took her to the avian vet to have her beak worked on, but cant tell if it is scissor beak or poor nutrition from original home. Its very minor, Ive got her on a proper diet now, along with visits to the vet for maintenance, it may be potentially corrected since it was addressed quickly. She is not aggressive, but has not been handled much before I got her. She is timid of hands but when she wants to go somewhere she has no problem stepping up. She is more interested in men, but has shown no aggression towards women, she just really likes my two older boys more. Im a woman and I cart her around the house no problem. I believe she has great potential to be a wonderful pet for someone, I think a man would be best since she seems more attracted to them, but is fine with women at the end of the day. She is loud, especially if she is not with you. Loves sitting on the curtain rod when you shower. Seems to be her happiest place.
