This is Firefly. She is a 9 year old retired breeding dog. I have owned her since she was a puppy and I love her dearly. She has been retired for a few years and I had every intention of keeping her for the rest of her days. However she has decided she needs to pick fights with every other female dog she comes across. And at this point, especially with her age, she is losing badly. I recently had to take her to the vet and she needed stitches and lost a bit of her lip. She has fully healed and back to herself but I am worried she will end up hurting herself even worse next time. She is an absolute sweetheart and great with kids and male dogs, though she needs a little bit to warm up to adult strangers. With owning a breeding program with 3 other females that are all randomly in heat I just think it will be best for her and her safety if she finds a new home. I am not concerned about price, only that she finds a good home. So I will be vetting whoever shows interest to make sure it is a good fit for all.
Firefly is ASDR registered and health tested all clear except for one copy of PRCD.
She has been living with an intact male that can be rehomed with her.
