Sport or high energy doberman

4 year old Doberman searching for a sport or very high energy home. Tail docked, natural ears, UTD on shots, aloof to new people but the sweetest ever once she gets comfortable with people. Very protective of her property barks at anyone walking by. EXTREMELY EAGER TO PLEASE! If youre searching for a dog you want to do extensive training, do sports with, a running buddy, this is your dog! She can easily run 5 miles and keep trucking. She is intense! Shes been around children and does fine as long as she can get away when shes over stimulated. Great with other dogs large and small (surprisingly)
Shes okay with cats, doesnt try to harm them but she likes to chase. Easily redirected.
wouldnt recommend having her with a dominant female as she can be dominant herself. Does fabulous with males. Crate trained, house trained, we leave her out of the crate during workdays and overnights leaving crate open if she chooses to lay in it but when locked in she is quiet and patient. recall is amazing, has basic obedience mastered, (sit, down, come, wait, paw, center, heel, drop it, leave it)
This girl is definitely special! Shell bring so much energy and love into your home.
Now for a few cons, she does need work on leash, she is a big PULLER, this is my fault as shes typically off leash most time but like mentioned before shes so eager to please and this could be corrected in a short amount of time. She NEEDS a fenced in yard, or partially fenced. When she sees someone walking by she does fixate on them and struggles to listen when shes so focused.
Shed genuinely thrive in a farm type environment where she can run and play freely.

Working breed experience is a MUST with a dog of this caliber. She needs structure and consistency. Weve had her since 8 weeks and have so much love for this dog, hence why were making the decision to find her a more suitable home as well be moving to a smaller property where she just wont get what she needs and it isnt fair to her.
