It has taken several years of careful pairing and patience to successfully breed this Puerto Rican pair of lovebirds, and they have certainly exceeded expectations. Originating from winning bloodlines, the hen is a Dutch Blue Opaline split to Orange Face, while the cock is an Orange Faced Heavy Pied Opaline. These offspring are hand-fed, well-socialized, and continue to develop beautifully each day. At present, one chick is being retained for my own program, one has been reserved, and two remain available. I am open to a potential trade for one, preferably for a high-quality lovebird that would contribute positively to my ongoing breeding efforts. The remaining chick would make a stunning, eye-catching companion. All birds are fully weaned onto a balanced diet of pellets and seeds, and are regularly exposed to a variety of fresh foods.
