message vykyng about this ad Lucy is believed to be about 3 years old. Her previous owner was an elderly lady who was unable to care for her. Currently, we have encountered a situation that is forcing us to move and our girl cannot join us and because of that she has been handled less. She is an excited and curious bird who loves to play peekaboo and get scratches. Her favorite trick is waving hello. We were told she has a vocabulary of about 40 words and phases although Im not sure weve heard that many from her. She will say hi and hello, wanna go outside, good girl, water/fresh water, step up, back up, I love you, she blows big kisses among other things. She likes to hang by her beak and wave with both feet. She is a typical macaw, shy to speak and play with toys at first but warms up fairly quickly. She sleeps throughout the night. She enjoys playing with kids, she interested in other pets but has never attempted to attack them. She has lived with dogs, cats, fish, and other birds.
