message whitelittlenose about this ad Hi! My name is Rufus. I am small like a chihuahua and very cute like a dachshund! I was a stray in San Antonio, and the shelter estimated me as 2 years old. It was not safe for me there, so I came to Nebraska and now am ready to find my family. I am neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and potty trained. * Being about 15 lb, I am of the ideal size to be your lap dog, which is the only thing I want! I am very affectionate, and I would like you to touch me and scratch me, and pet me, and talk to me every time you can. Recently I learned about treats and toys, about soothing hooman's hands and cozy bed. I learned that I am a "good boy" and that life is not scary, but very interesting and pleasant. Now I understand what "family" means, and I dream to have my own. * I love to sleep on the cat hammock, explore the yard and play with toys. I love sniffing games in a box full of paper or getting treats hidden in packages. But my true passion is to stretch out on the couch near my people. I love to chew my bones. Also, I like soft toys to nibble, but I'm very gentle and no toy was ever harmed by me. I will definitely benefit from having a furry friend. * I am very smart, gentle, tolerant and understanding. I will sit and patiently wait while you prepare my food or puzzles. I ring a bell when I want to go out. I am very loyal and devoted to my people, fearless and protective. I am alert and will discretely notify you about suspicious activities around. On the other hand, I am very quiet, and would even be fine in an apartment, unless you will want to leave me alone! Because this is the only thing I hate. * I like the foster home I live in now, but I need to find my own family before I get attached too much, and that would be painful for me. Are you the one I am looking for? If so, please fill out my adoption application for Save Texas K9s rescue (the link is in the QR code picture) If you have any questions feel free to text 402-707-6387. * I was given a chance, I am here, in Omaha, and have Tomorrow. However, there are still so many dogs in Texas for whom every day may be the last one! My adoption fee will be used by the rescue to save another dog's life, the same way as mine was saved. Thank you! message whitelittlenose about this ad |
