message liviana about this ad This is a female. THIS IS A LUTINO COCKATIEL. IT IS KNOWN FOR IT STUNNING CONTRAST OF WHITE FEATHERS AGAINST BRILLIANT YELLOW FEATHERS, RED EYES, AND ORANGE CHEEKS! Wonderful bird, 1 of 4 siblings, working on stepping up to the top of your hand when gently grazed under the belly. My birds enjoy time out of the cage to play on wood branch JUNGLE GYMS (as seen in the pictures) or to play and eat in foraging boxes and return home for nap time and bedtime. I have a book I put together that can be emailed if you wish to have to help you with your new bird! I hand rear/hand raise these beautiful birds along with their parents. Research shows this to be the best start in life for pet birds. Mom and dad feed and care for them until 4 weeks, then they are separated into their own cage and visit mom and dad for meals and to learn bird behaviors. I DO HOWEVER HOLD THEM EVERY DAY, SEVERAL TIMES FROM THE SECOND OR THIRD DAY OF BIRTH SO THAT THEY CRAVE HUMAN ATTENTION. I FEEL IT IS ALWAYS HEALTHIEST AND BEST FOR ALL ANIMALS TO BE RAISED BY THEIR PARENTS IF POSSIBLE SO I LET THE PARENTS DO THE FEEDING AND TEACHING AS LONG AS POSSIBLE WHILE STILL HAVING A TAME BIRD. If you have any questions or to set a date for pick up please call OR TEXT! I am happy to answer any questions you have! We HAVE raised puppies, and now raise birds in our home. All of my animals are family members and well loved. Pick up is in Paynesville MN and cash only please. Thanks and have a great day! They are fed Roudybush Daily Maintenance Bird Food in the Crumbles size and bird seed mix at a ratio of 2:1. They are given sunflower seeds and millet as treats. They are also fed a cooked mix of millet, lentils along with carrots, eggs, plus different types of chopped fruits such as strawberries. message liviana about this ad |
