Vinny thrives in a home where he can be close to his people. He loves snuggling on the couch, sleeping near his family, and spending time outdoors soaking up the sun. Whether its playing fetch or just lounging in the yard, hes happiest when hes with you.
He is great with our children and has been wonderful with our cat. He also enjoys playing with other dogs. Vinny is crate trained and does well with routine.
Vinny would do best in a home with a fenced yard, as he enjoys being outside but can be vocal when people or dogs pass by. He is naturally protective of his family and may bark at strangers or new dogs, especially from inside the home. Because of this, he would benefit from a family who understands the breed and has the time to continue working on training and socialization.
We are rehoming Vinny due to changes in our family and not having the time he deserves with a new baby. This is a very difficult decision, and we are committed to finding him a loving, patient home where he will continue to thrive. We would prefer to rehome close to Eau Claire, but willing to expand distance for the right family.
Vinny would be a great fit for:

* Someone comfortable continuing basic training and managing protective behavior
