message duckandgang about this ad We have been taking in unwanted dogs and puppies the last few years, the ones at risk for being dumped or worse, getting them up to date on vetting, starting their training and grooming and getting them into new homes. We have helped over 200 dogs find their new homes and currently have just 7 left looking for homes. Everyone is up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, heartworm prevention, flea prevention and dewormed. They go home with a leash and collar, bag of their current food and all medical records. Ones marked are fixed already. Others are currently waiting for openings at the clinic to get done. Lab/rat terrier mystery mix Krissy spayed Born Oct 17 2023 40lbs Sweet, lovey girl. Requires fully fenced yard. Takes a while to warm up. Good with similar sized dogs and cats. No small children, only because she's so shy and doesn't like loud and chaos. Pit/shepherd mix born Dec 23rd 2023 Alan brindle male 50lbs Neuter 11/24 HOLD until 12/8 No cats. No small kids. His tail is a torture device and he thinks hes part boxer some days. He has a never-ending zest for life and just wants to go go go with you until he drops. Love to find him a man who will roughhouse with him like he wants. Good with female dogs, males are conditional. Medium amish mutts $50 Cindy brown female 23lbs 5yo SPAYED Best with no small kids, they're just too fast and grabby for her. Only dog we know for a fact was abused before we got her. Will shy and hide if you raise your voice or try to grab her and she thinks she's in trouble because of her past. Needs someone slow and patient still, but has mostly overcome it all. She doesn't mind cats. Great off leash. Hunts small furry things still. Lab/pit/dalmation mixes born 5/13/24 60lbs Diva black spotted female Wants nothing more than to lay in the sun and chew. Doesn't like cats. No small kids. Does not like anyone in her face. Can be reactive to strangers grabbing her (seriously have had TWO different people grab her face or smack her in the face over the last year so she's hard to trust strangers Likes to play with dogs her size rough. Can be bossy with other dogs. Dollar black spotted male neutered 10/2 HOLD until 10/18 He would love a home with just him and a large female to play with. No cats, no small kids. He likes to play mouth still and it can be off putting if you don't understand what he's doing. No male dogs. Protective nature, doesn't even like the husband coming home in the middle of his normal work day. Loves to play with toys and roughhouse with you. Penny Australian shepherd heeler mix 25lbs born 2024 comes with supplies This girl is great 1 on 1 with her people, would be good with older kids. Not a huge cat fan, but also doesn't really care about them. Was off leash trained at her last home. Alfred Yorkie born Sep 14/24 8.6lbs This guys been with us a few months and still shy. This is NOT a lovey carry him around dog. You'll be getting your dog a dog. Fence yard is best for him. He wasnt socialized as a puppy due to some odd circumstances for the family and we got him in at nearly a year old and he's jumpy. Once we pick him up, he calms down. He doesnt enjoy being picked up and stiffens when you hold him, always wanting to go run and hide. Always good for grooming though after he's put on the table. Absolutely no children. Needs an adult home with a homebody and another dog he can follow around like a lost puppy. Doesn't mind cats, but most are bigger than him. At his age, he might mellow out, or he could always just be like that cat that hides most of the day. He's good about going outside to potty, though occasionally lifts his leg on the open door. He goes back into his kennel when he's done playing and enjoys having his safe space. Adoption fees vary per dog, but are a drop in the bucket to keep us going. We do our best to match the dog with the right family. We do have some dogs listed on our courtesy section as well, they don't live with us so information and photos are limited.
