message jssct980 about this ad Moderate sized breeder located in St. Cloud FL. I have maybe 2-4 litters per month. So not always able to get exactly what combination you may be looking for, but we have lots of diversity! Prices range from $20-30 COAT TYPE - Most of my lines are rex & double rex coats although I do produce some standard straight fur as well. Some of my double rex go completely naked so we have hairless rats although not necessarily the true hairless gene. EARS - Standard top eared rats & dumbo ear as well! Dumbo is more prominent in certain lines. There may not be dumbo in the exact color you want but we have many options to look thru. PATTERNS - Lots of variegated patterns. Some resemble hooded (colored head with a back stripe) although I don't have the strongest hood patterns if you're looking for breeding genes. Most of my hooded rats do have a break somewhere in the stripe. Working on producing more berkshire (solid color with white belly Feel free to ask if you're looking for a solid color. COLORS - My lines include russian blue agouti, marten, beige, fawn, agouti, white with black eyes or red, some black occasionally, some mink, & variations of browns. It can be difficult to identify the exact color when you're looking at a variegated rat that only has a small bit of color on it. But I have different shades of mink/chocolate/smokey looking mixes of tones that people may call different terms. I do not have lineage on these rats for exact color identification. If you are looking for sure proven colors to strengthen your genes I will put out there that I don't have that kind of guarantee on these rats. But Id be happy to show you what's available to choose based on looks! PERSONALITIES - All babies are handled regularly & have great pet personalities! Lines bred with stable temperaments in moms. They don't bite me. They don't bite their new owners when they go home. However any animal CAN bite so Im not going to tell you they WONT bite. Some people don't know how to treat animals & thats not on me. If you bring home a nervous baby animal that is going thru a major transition & give it to your kids to play with like a toy, theres a possibility they could get bit. Treat pets with respect & let them settle in especially when they're first coming home! Introducing to other pet rats is always a bit risky. If you have a solo rat at home theres a chance they will reject & attack a new partner. Make sure you research the best way to introduce rats together. If you have more than 1 & want to expand your colony I would recommend getting 2 or more new rats to help with group tension & reduce the change of 1 new rat being bullied. message jssct980 about this ad |
