message lplabradors about this adI will first start by saying we have not come to this decision lightly, but it is what we have to do. We are not looking for advice on how to "fix" this, we are looking to find a new home for our almost 2 year old purebred male english lab. We will request he goes to a home with no other animals. We were given the recommendation to euthanize him, but we know he could live a long, happy life with someone without other animals around.
He is super sweet, very smart, and a ball of energy.
But, he has attacked one of our other dogs twice now, a 6 year old, castrated male.
We completely understand this is a natural thing but both times he has sneak attacked the other dog without any warning and without my husband or I in the vicinity.
He has not shown any aggression towards any of the humans in our house, no aggression towards our other 6 year old male dog or our 2 year old female dog, or our cats.
He is still intact, as were were breeding, but we decided we didn't want to do that anymore and we wanted to get him fixed but our vet is scheduled out until February of next year.
It is in the best interest for our animals and for him, to find a new loving home for him.

His name is Hutchinson. We call him Hutch.
He is silver. He is purebred. He is AKC registered.
He was born on August 9th 2024.
He is about 75lbs.
He is still intact.
He is seriously a great dog and a good listener.
He does play just fine with our two other dogs.
He loves food and bounces around when it's breakfast and dinner time and usually is wiggling while eating too.
He loves ice cubes, they are his favorite. Anytime we open the freezer or fill a drink, he gets ice cubes.
He loves fruits, veggies and popsicles also.
He loves the water and to go swimming.
He is crate trained, we call it kennel and he knows to go to it.
We do truly believe he would calm down a bit if he were fixed.
He would make a great companion, because he truly is a good companion.
He loves people and has never shown any aggression towards humans.
