message snohomish10 about this ad AVAILABLE Roo is a 3 year old intact (not spayed, and potentially not worth it at this point in time unless you have a specialty vet and insist on it) Flemish Giant. Yes, she is purebred, so this is not your average sized rabbit. I dont have a weight at the time being. She does well with being picked up for nail trims and when needed to be manually moved, but she doesnt favor it. Shell tolerate. Roo is litter trained and was use to free ranging prioe to coming to me. She will need to do the same, or have an appropriate sized cage with a solid bottom due to poor fur covering on her back heels resulting in them being a little bare (she does not have sorehocks, just literally poor fur covering over the back feet so she needs extra support (a prime example of how wire bottom cages are not to blame for sorehocks or bare feet and that it is genetic rather than environmental Roo is blind, so she navigates her environment carefully. She is not a high energy rabbit, and is thorough in taking her time to explore and get a feel for the area she is in, due to her blindness. This does NOT mean she necessarily spooks easily. She is SWEET! She *will* make an audible grunt or growl if touched in her cage too suddenly without letting her sniff to know youre there first, but she has never offered to lunge or bite nor do I think she would, but any animal with teeth has the capability to if pushed hard enough! In the past, Roo was bonded to others from what I have been told. She might be a good candidate for bonding to a neutered male or another female. Gets along with BEHAVED dogs. She was use to a Great Dane in the past. Roo will come with transition feed, and a litter box that is size appropriate if you wish I can even include 2 if requested. She will need a stationary feeder or heavy heavy stoneware bowl as she is a bowl flipper. There is an adoption fee that is small and fair. I am located in Hope Mills for pickup or viewing.
