message mrdbngmmc about this ad Little zebu starter herd. Brown cow and grey cow are both 4 years old. The black and white bull is 3 years old. They are all around 36 inches tall. True mini cows. Ovid, MI Brown cow just calved a beautiful little heifer calf Wednesday afternoon. She calves quickly and easily. This is her 2nd calf. I casually played around with milking her last year. She never tried to kick. She didn't let her milk down well for me though. Her calf was still on her as well which obviously makes s difference. Grey cow has not had a calf. I don't know if she is just a late bloomer or incapable. Zebu are supposed to take 3-5 years to hit reproductive age. The bull is a nice little guy that does his job well. He definitely throws nice color in his babies. I would love to sell them all together but I'm also willing to separate as well. |
