message lisamichelle about this ad Due to my recent retirement and downsizing to an apartment, I need to find my just-turned-three year old Australian Shepherd, Maggie, a more appropriate home. As an Aussie shes a farm dog at heart and has a lot of energy. She needs a fenced yard, or a farm. She chases cars and will need to be kept from the roadway. She also chases birds. She loves car rides, she is typically very good off-leash. Shes a fast learner. She would be an amazing alert/guard dog, she protects her territory. She loves people once shes introduced. She loves being petted and snuggling to nap or watch TV. She likes to watch 101 Dalmations (among other dog oriented movies and shows She has been spayed. She is in great health. She is hit and miss with cats and dogs. She got along great with my cat, but would chase the neighbors. Some dogs she gets along great with, others only if they let her be the alpha boss. She likes to herd. No bite history. She knows how to sit, stay, she is house trained, doesnt chew (shell get into trash bags though She has been raised on Purina One dog food, no known dietary issues to this point. She needs a safe place to run and let her energy out, but deserves to sleep happy and warm inside at night. If you have experience with Aussies or she sounds like a good fit for you, please reach out! message lisamichelle about this ad |
