message aljcuties23 about this ad I have the sweetest male golden retriever. His name is Oakley and he is one and a half years old. We rescued him from an Amish farm when he was 6 months old. He had been abused and it took a lot of work but he is a very sweet boy now. However it does take him a minute to get to know you and feel comfortable but once he does he loves everyone ( dogs, cats, kids He also does not walk on a leash and will fight you if you try. He is completely potty trained and also listens very well, and does not tear things up. He is truly a good boy. The issue is I am getting divorced and I work 12 hours a day and he is just lonely. On the weekends everyone is gone and I feel like he needs more interaction. Since I have been working so much and he has been alone he now lays under my bed all the time and just dosent seem happy. He would love a family with kids and a yard as he loves to be outside. I am asking a small rehoming fee (250) and he will not come with his papers. I will also require a vet reference. I am not in a huge hurry, and finding him the perfect family is my concern, so I will not let him go to just anyone.
