message birdman323 about this ad A rare Aechmea Bromeliifolia or Aechmea Maculata blooming now in a 5 gallon pot. It is a bromeliad, grows quickly and has spectacular flowers. The "mother" plants will produce "pups" or offshoots which eventually produce their own flowers. I also have for sale pieces of this plant, bare root, no soil. Those without roots and not potted cost $35 on Etsy. This plant must be grown OUTDOORS. If grown indoors you won't get many flowers. Photo shows my single plant in a pot for sale. Also, a photo of my huge plant with flowers just to show how large the plant gets. Another photo shows a few offshoots for sale for $10 each (compared to $35 on Etsy One is blooming without soil.
