I have yak cow and a yak bull. Cow is 2 I believe I have paperwork for her, the bull is a year. They aren't extremely friendly but they are in with another yak that is a bully. They will both come to you for food but are skiddish, I'm positive that if they aren't with the other yak they will become friendly if you want that. They have been around a lot of people as we are a petting farm. They have a regular cow in the same pasture, a goat and a sheep. They are pretty mellow tempered towards other animals. $2500 for the pair or $1500 each OBO
