message thatpetlady about this ad Flock of eight Pilgrim / Embden Geese - currently used to free-range and will put themselves in the barn at night. Not willing to separate. Must go as pets, not for food. Great layers this year. One male - 3 years old One male - 2 years old One male - 1 year old 4 females - 2 years old 1 female - 1 year old All are related to one another, so we haven't let them keep/hatch any of their eggs this year. Most of the flock is not tame, but the youngest male was raised indoors from hatching to fully feathered, and the rest of the flock follow his lead and come right up to me. I don't pet them and I think that helps them trust me more. They do split up a bit in the spring for breeding, but stick together outside of breeding season. No aggression here. Aside from the occasional head down and wings out as a warning to leave their girlfriends alone in the spring - they've never actually chased or nipped anyone. These birds can easily live 15-20 years, so while they're adults, they're still very young. They've been free-range for three years now and we've only lost two to predators (one per winter Must be picked up in Staples, Minnesota. Asking $200 for all eight - willing to barter for something else - make me an offer. I am moving and cannot bring them with me.
