We complete OFA heath testing on our dogs, and those can be viewed on the AKC website. Our puppies are $1200. Currently we have 1 males available that is ready to go, they turned 8 weeks last Friday. They have been extensively socialized, I spend nearly all day every day with them until they go to their homes. We start with ENS at birth (early neurological stimulation) which included things like holding them upside down briefly, playing with/touching their feet, very brief exposure to warmth and cool sensations and other brief moments of discomfort to help them lean to tolerate unpleasant things. They began housebreaking at about 4.5 weeks and have been doing fantastic. I have them on a schedule of sleep, potty, eat, play, sleep which they are also doing very well with. They have been exposed to cats, other dogs and children. Our Brittanys tend to absolutely love children, and our adult dogs absolutely do too. I do not hunt with them myself, they are my companions, and I couldn't recommend a better breed for a family companion. As with any hunting breed some individual pups are more inclined to hunt than others, but given that's what they were also bred to do, exercise, training and adequate containment are very important. We have the parents of this litter, the aunt of the litter (the father's littermate sister) and a cousin of this litter as our permanent pack. They are AKC orange and white roan, they have had their tails docked and dew claws removed. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been wormed twice.
