message litab377 about this ad I am trying to help my adult son re-home his German Shepherd Dog. He is going on 5 years old, and comes from a registered litter that we raised, so he can be AKC registered This dog is still intact because my son was going to use him for a stud, but then changed his mind, based on personal reasons. This dog was the most beautiful pup of the 11 in his respective litter. The primary reason my son is re-homing this dog is because he has started a house/pet sitting business and he cannot take his dog to other people's homes. This dog is hard-wired for protection and so needs to go to a very particular home. (We don't want him to end up on the end of a chain He was born during covid times and so did not have enough socialization opportunities with people or other dogs. Despite his protective nature, he also has a very sweet side. In addition, he has always been good around young children. Due to his protective nature and some fear aggression, we had him assessed by 2 very experienced trainers, in 2 different training centers, when he was around 1 year old. Both trainers had no issues at all handling this dog and did not note any specific problems. This GSD needs a very confident, probably male, owner who is very patient, and has a good knowledge base of the German Shepherd Dog breed. He should probably be the only dog in his new home. Small re-homing fee is required to insure his new owner will be willing to invest the needed time and effort in him. Feel free to email me for more photos and information. message litab377 about this ad |
