Beautiful black body with copper hackles and markings, orange eyes and slate legs. Flashy french-style feathered legs. The Marans are famous for their dark brown to chocolate colored eggs and a delicious table bird. Commonly used to produce Olive-Egger offspring. At 14 weeks these boys are starting to crow and court the ladies. Gentle disposition, friendly with people and other chickens. Strict bio-security followed with my small flock.
