Lucknow, September 18, 2025: The Uttar Pradesh government announced another major police reshuffle on Thursday. This time, 16 IPS officers have been transferred, including the Superintendents of Police (SPs) of 10 districts. The most prominent figure in this reshuffle is the current SP of Hardoi, Neeraj Kumar Jadon, who has been appointed Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Aligarh. In his place, Sonbhadra SP Ashok Kumar Meena has been given the command of Hardoi. These transfers are aimed at strengthening law and order in view of the festivals, with the chiefs of districts like Azamgarh, Kushinagar, Deoria, Aligarh, Hardoi, Sonbhadra, Unnao, Pratapgarh, Ambedkarnagar, and Auraiya being replaced. |
