My husband and I adopted Lavender through SPCA when she was a tiny kitten. She is very playful, adventurous, and cuddly. I call her my little shadow, because she follows me around the house everywhere I go. She sleeps on my legs every night, and on my lap whenever I read. She is as quiet as a mouse, and only meeps when she wants me to wake up. She is very skeptical of anyone that is a stranger, and is territorial. With having a baby and people being in and out of our home we can't have a territorial cat. If someone tries to pick her up or let her that she doesn't know, she will not be happy. We need to find Lavender a new home because I am expecting a baby in May, and I am not sure how she will respond to a new baby. Because she is territorial of me, it may be best for her to find a new mom or dad. My heart is absolutely broken to find her a new home because I love her so much, but it's our best option right now. Whoever adopts Lavender needs to be prepared to help her adjust to a new living situation and be patient with her because she will be anxious at first.
