Hedgehogs make great pets for the busy families that are at work and school all day, as they are nocturnal. When your long day is over they are awake to come out to hang out with you and your family. They love to snuggle and bond with you while you are watching a movie. They are very curious and love to run around and explore everything. They are very silly animals that make any bad day a good one, just watching them. They bond extremely well with their families, I would say they imprint on them. They get spooked, they will run to you, jump on your shoe and try to climb up your pant leg Help mom pick me up They are simple to care for with the correct cage set up. Once a week you do a full cleaning of the cage. Daily change out the litter pans if needed, make sure they have food and water. They are small exotic animals, they love going on adventures (a trip to the store, during warmer months they love to go outside and explore the big world around them. Some even like the beach and enjoy playing at the waters edge They curl up in their bonding bag and off they go with you to run your errands.
