message nrmnmn0580 about this ad Friendly, 7yrs old, captive bred, adult female redfoot tortoise needs a home. She eats Mazuri pellets (10lb bag included fruits, and veggies and is very easy to care for. She's about full grown at 16" and will need a large enclosure. This is not a pet for a small cage or reptarium - she is currently in an outdoor pen that is 4' square and it is too small. She likes to roam on bare earth and to also dig herself into (she does not dig tunnels A large outdoor enclosure that is protected from predators (racoons, opossums, rats, etc would be ideal. You may pet her head, stroke her neck, and play with her limbs and she won't bite. She's of breeding age and should produce some fine, healthy young if paired up with a good looking male. This is not a "cherry head" as she has a yellow head and red legs (pics) - nice contrast. I've cared for her since she was a hatchling but would now be better off with someone better equipped.
