message candb2016 about this ad Ruger is a very sweet, higher energy guy who is looking to find a new home due to our older German Shepherd being aggressive towards him. (Absolutely NOT his faultour German Shepherd is getting more grumpy & less tolerant/accepting of other large dogs as she has gotten older Ruger is 6 years old & is a purebred Dutch Shepherd (is not registered He is neutered & is current on his 5 way vaccine (just needs a Rabies booster He has been given monthly heartworm prevention since he was a pup. He is truly a good boy with a big heart & we will be sad to see him go but this is what is fair/best for him now. He is friendly & playful with other dogs, although he is often rambunctious when he plays, so a home with very small dogs that may accidentally get hurt during play wouldn't be the best fit for him. He does have a prey drive & likes to chase cats and other small animals & birds so would not be a good candidate for households with any small pets. He has been friendly with all the people with he has met at parks, etc (both adults & kids) but due to his somewhat rambunctious personality, I wouldn't suggest him for a family that has really small young kids (babies/toddlers) or an elderly person just because he can get a bit rowdy when he gets excited or is playing. He does need a home where he will get regular excercise. A rehoming fee of $200 will apply to help ensure that he goes to a good home.
