This saddleback male is friendly, obedient, and moderately energetic. He is quick to learn. He enjoys playing with a ball and hanging out with his person. He likes to dig. Because of his energy level, it can take him a while to rest when he is in the house. While this nine month old pup is gaining confidence around the cows, Sam is not showing any signs of wanting to herd them. He prefers to be a companion instead of a helper. He will alert to farm visitors by barking and occasionally he will exhibit tendencies to guard the farm.
For reasons unrelated to this dog (probably economics we have not sold Sam or his two brothers. Unfortunately we have had very few inquiries about the remaining pups in this litter. They are fantastic dogs, and they will be wonderful companions and helpers for their new families.
